Paths to Christ

"Our worldviews and life experiences are different and unique.  And God knows this, so he nurtures us and reveals himself to us in different ways."

1.  Naturalism--simplicity, solitude, environmentalist  Rom. 1
2.  Intellectualism--just wanting Truth, logic, intellect, it has to make sense  i.e. Lee Stroebel, Michael J. Behe
3.  Desperation--perhaps a life of addictions or brokenness, drives one to see God
4.  Humanitarianism--compassion and mercy is in you, humanitarian work reflects the way you were made, grace to others
5.  Isolationism--searching for relationships, meaning, participation, and belonging w/ others, dysfunctional family leads to a desire for connection, a place your gifts can be used
6.  Spiritualism-- a deep hunger for the supernatural, "New Age", looking in all places for miracles, signs, and wonders
7.  Creative Expression--arts, dance, music, an "inner thing"  on a pathway they have to express themselves, often very close intellectual thinkers, but also very emotional people, desparately want to express the truth that is in them
